In 2018, my life turned upside down in the blink of an eye. I lost everything. My home, my car, my job, my savings, and 401K, everything that I had worked so hard for. I was forced to move into an unhabitable house, with no heat in freezing conditions.
One day I decided to make the 17-hour drive to Minnesota and start rebuilding my life. I knew it would take hard work, dedication, and learning on my part, but I was ready to take on this challenge. When I was living in Delaware, my credit score was on average a 700. Once I moved to Minnesota, I watched it decrease dramatically to 490 because I could not afford to pay my bills. While I was going through the transition, I began to review my credit and research ways to improve my credit. I started educating myself on different ways I could improve my overall credit rating, ways to dispute inaccurate items, and different avenues that would help increase my score. After trying the process on myself, I realized it worked and the results were OUTSTANDING. My 490-credit score went up to 691 in less than 12 months. Once I saw how the process worked so well, I began to restore my friend's and family’s credit. Seeing them achieve their goals of purchasing their first car or home, or just the score increasing in general, is the best feeling anyone could ask for. When you can hear someone’s joy and excitement through the phone of something that you have helped them with, is priceless. Based on the feedback I received from friends and family, they had suggested that I begin a business in credit repair.
