We were established in 1980. We are considered "El Pionero" which means pioneer because we were the first Salvadoran restaurant to open in New York! We are a family-run business in the heart of Jamaica, Queens. Our food is home-cooked and made to order. Reopening the Local Gourmet kitchen, we stock our shelves with market-fresh ingredients, so that the food we serve you is as fresh and flavorful as can be.
