Dr. Andrew Kramer is a Board-Certified General Surgeon with over 26 years of experience. Early in his medical career, Dr. Kramer worked as a Registered Paramedic at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He subsequently completed medical school at the University of Maryland, followed by a Surgical Residency and a Shock Research Fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr Kramer served in the US Army Reserve Medical Corps as a surgeon from 1994-2015, with 2 active duty deployments, retiring in 2015 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. From 2009 to 2013, he served as Chief of Surgery at Piedmont Eastside.
