We are opening this magnificent Plantation property for your event needs. This Stately Southern Colonial Greek Revival home with details reminiscent of the Parthenon is located on a historic 1813 Spanish land grant located between the Big Cypress and the Little Cypress rivers next to one of the early roads to Jefferson. The six-acre grounds were originally a part of a cotton plantation and later became a pecan plantation.
The present owners, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Yarbrough of Mansfield, Louisiana, purchased the property in 2010 for family and future generations. The property has been extensively renovated by Joe McDonnell of McDonnell Construction. He and his wife Carmen manage the property and are the Inn Keepers for Twin Oaks Plantation Bed & Breakfast. The homes on the property are filled with intricate architecture, custom molding, and woodwork styles that reflect a passion of antiquity. Twin Oaks as well as the 1873 antebellum cottage and pool house are filled with exquisite antiques from around the world, many of which date back to the 1800’s.
The Twin Oaks Plantation Cottage Bed & Breakfast is the perfect setting for a girls weekend, anniverssary, or coorporate meeting place.
