Sherry L. Hyman has been practicing law in Palm Beach County, Florida since 1976. She is Board Certified in Real Estate Law, a Certified Florida Mediator and a Qualified Florida Arbitrator.

She was formerly General Counsel and Executive Vice-President of the Satter Companies, a group of affiliated companies and partnerships in the business of acquiring, developing, financing, designing, constructing, marketing, mortgaging, syndicating, managing and selling commercial, residential and industrial projects in the states of Florida, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. Her experience with the Satter Companies included the management of a group of diversified companies that made up the Satter Companies, including an architectural company, construction company, mortgage company, syndication company, property management company and real estate brokerage and sales company. Her experience also included the merger of the companies with a public company.

Ms. Hyman was also In-House Counsel to the Frankel Companies, developers of commercial projects and upscale residential communities in Palm Beach County. Her experience with the Frankels included construction defect issues, construction lien management, real estate financings and sales, landlord tenant issues, condominiums and homeowner associations, real estate tax appeals, employment law issues and the creation, operation and managment of private equity clubs, including the transfer of control of the Clubs to the equity members.

Since opening her own practice in 2003, Ms. Hyman continues to represent real estate developers, private Equity Clubs, homeowners associations, architectural firms as well as individuals involved in residential, commercial and industrial real estate transactions.

Ms. Hyman also devotes a portion of her practice to court ordered and voluntary mediations and arbitrations in all areas of the law. She has mediated a wide array of cases in various areas of the law, including cases involving: family law, contract disputes, sexual harrassment, mortgage foreclosures, garnishment, slander and actions for damages.
