Dr Qi chose a career in pediatrics because she enjoys making a positive impact on her patients and their families. She believes it is rewarding as it centers around promoting the health, development and well-being of children and adolescents. She comes to work every day to make a positive impact on young lives. As a pediatric newborn hospital specialist, Dr Qi works with all newborns born at Bronson Methodist Hospital or Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. However, she has a special interest in researching population genetics, medical genetics, asthma and allergies. Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring youth, gardening, reading and watching movies. Providing medical care to newborns demands utmost precision and sensitivity.
