"A Bit About Crossing Borders (CB)
Who are we? We are a stunningly unique company! CB, as the name implies, is in the business of facilitating the flow between one culture and another. CB develops programs for all age groups (starting at the age of 18 months old to adults) and language fluency levels to help children and adults acquire the skills necessary to overcome the barriers that keep them within the confines of their native languages and cultures.
Crossing Borders offers custom-tailored instruction to adults and children in both group and private settings as well as enrichment programs in schools and centers and corporate language classes in/for small businesses and fortune 500 companies, as well as language immersion programs for kids through licensing in day cares and our own Bilingual Pre-schools in our own standing buildings. Crossing Borders' programs are ideal for excelling in work, travel, and business as well as for academic and personal growth.
What makes us different from other providers? Most language companies focus on adult or kids language services. CB focuses on both. Our staff works in making sure our lessons plans, materials, and trainings work.
Our Founder, Owner, and CEO Elvia Taylor founded our company in 2001. Elvia initially started the company to teach English and Spanish; however, she soon realized that people’s need for linguistic and cultural education extended far beyond basic studies. Through her vision and passion for language, Elvia has expanded Crossing Borders to include classes for children and adults in a wide variety of settings and languages. It is this passion that drives CB as we expand in the effort to make quality linguistic and cultural education accessible to everyone.
Variety of Languages and Programs
Crossing Borders offers a variety of languages and programs year-round. From our bilingual early learning program to our Spanish summer camp, CB has it all!
