Today, the Schmidt family and our experienced team of funeral directors, who live in and are active supporters of the community, are continuing that 70-year tradition of excellence at both our original East Avenue location in downtown Katy and our new location, located on Grand Parkway South in Katy, now open to better serve our growing community. This new state-of-the-art complex includes a 16,000 square foot primary building that features a beautifully-appointed chapel, two large staterooms and a spacious reception area. The 4-acre complex also includes Katy's first and only on-site crematory.
