I chose healthcare as a career because I always loved science, and I love helping people. Primary care is a great fit for me because it allows me to be a jack-of-all-trades. I enjoy the variety the field offers me. Each patient is different, and each visit may present a new puzzle to solve. \n I take a personal approach to my practice. I appreciate that, out of all the great primary care clinicians in the area, my patients have chosen me. I take a personal interest in each patient and like to celebrate my patients' achievements - such as reaching some health or wellness goal - with them. When things get serious, I have cried with my patients. Whatever the issue, we'll walk through it together. \n My wife and I have two young sons. As for hobbies, I used to have some - but midnight feedings and diaper-changing have taken their place. \n At some point in the future when I have hobbies again, I will revisit working on my green thumb. Although still a novice, I enjoy gardening. I'm partial to fragrant plants such as honeysuckle, fragrant tea olive, roses and jasmine. \n I attended Duke University, so I love following Blue Devil basketball. I also love my neighbors, as the Bible tells us to. Even those who root for Chapel Hill.
