The Monogram Company began in 1981 with a single needle, single head embroidery machine, in the owner’s home. In the 1980’s, a multi-head machine was added and the company purchased the building at its present location of 515 Division St. in La Crosse, WI.
A larger, multi-head embroidery machine was added in 1996. Also, in the mid-1990’s, screen-printed apparel and promotional products began to be offered in addition to the embroidered apparel already available.
While specializing in apparel, The Monogram Company has seen increased growth in promotional products . The company has a mix of large, medium and small business customers and provides products to end users and re-sellers such as gift shops and catalog companies.
In 2002, The Monogram Company launched their first e-store for one of our corporate customers. This area continues to grow today. These e-stores provide a great option for our customers who are looking to streamline the process of employee apparel and awards programs.
The tag-line “You name it…We’ll put your name on it!” was added in 2003 to reflect the vast array of apparel and promotional products available to its customers. We make it our goal to provide you with the perfect item to promote your business or organization.
In 2004, The Monogram Company purchased the uniform business of Salem Markos & Sons in downtown La Crosse. This added police, fire and public service uniforms to the existing restaurant, corporate, sports and health care offerings. All alterations are done in-house.
The Monogram Company continues to strive to provide appropriate products, on-time deliveries and excellent customer service to all of our customers big and small. We’re always excited to answer a question or help with a project.
