Georg Couturier, MD, FACC, is the founding cardiologist of Village Heart & Vein Center and provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients throughout The Villages, Lady Lake, Leesburg, and surrounding Central Florida communities. Educated in Homburg, Germany, and trained as a resident and cardiology fellow at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Couturier brings an international perspective and decades of experience to patient care. He specializes in preventive cardiology, heart disease management, cardiac imaging, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and advanced diagnostic testing. A strong advocate for patients’ rights and evidence-based medicine, he remains committed to utilizing advanced technologies and evolving treatment protocols to help patients achieve optimal heart health.
