Kim Barrett and Courtney Biancofiori opened Society Yoga on June 1, 2020 after obtaining their yoga certification at a studio in Florida together. Their goal was to create a space for all people seeking spiritual and physical wellness to explore the benefits of yoga. They are founded on the principle of inclusivity and the belief that you do not have to look or be a certain way to practice yoga.
