America is currently experiencing a mental health crisis. Nearly half of the 60 million adults and children living with mental health conditions in the United States go without any treatment. Although there are several factors that contribute to these insufficiencies in mental health care such as lack of awareness, stigma, lack of insurance coverage, lack of social support - one of the leading root cause for this issue is lack of access to mental health care.
