For 25 years, Bracken McKey worked as a prosecutor in the Washington County District Attorney’s Office, including the last several years as Chief Deputy District Attorney. As Chief Deputy District Attorney, Bracken McKey directed investigations for the Washington County Major Crimes Team, including murders and Officer Involved Shootings.
Bracken McKey has handled thousands of cases and tried more than 250. As Chief Deputy DA, Bracken McKey prosecuted Oregon’s most serious cases, including dozens of homicides and hundreds of Measure 11 offenses. Bracken McKey has never lost a murder case. During his career, Bracken McKey led the county’s Westside Interagency Narcotics Team (WIN Team), the Crash Analyses and Reconstruction Team (CART).
