Cravings Cupcakery is a veteran-owned bakery creating gourmet cakes and cupcakes for Northern Virginia. After more than 21 years of serving her country in the U.S. Air Force, owner, Carie Parker decided to serve cake. Her passion for baking started in the 1970s, when she got an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas. A self-taught baker, over the years she tested her recipes through birthday and baby shower cakes, catered events and even wedding cakes created for her Airmen and civilian co-workers. With the encouragement of those who tasted her homemade creations, she established Cravings Cupcakery as a home-based bakery in 2012.
