Smart Space Self Storage

do not rent from here!!!! the woman that works in the office is nice until after you rent a space. she is very rude, disrespectful and very power hungry. i've seen in the past how she talks and treats people. the office is always closed during business hours and she only lets people that she choose to use the carts after closing but not all renters. always see homeless people going in and out and i guess people have caught them climbing over the tops and breaking in to people's storage spaces. we just had our space broken into and this front desk lady, the large one, is calling us liars saying we didn't have a lock on the unit, yes we did!!! we were there over a week ago and i always double check the lock to make sure its locked. she keeps implying that we didn't have a lock on it and she doesn't know if anything was taken. really!!! some very expensive and un-replaceable things were stolen. but she doesn't care. i guess they have been having this problem for awhile and why are homeless people in there? i've read on other reviews, they live in these units and are allowed to roam around and break into hard working peoples units. this lady thinks anything in there she has a right to and will hold on to it until she is ready to give it back. you would think they would be concerned that a unit got broken into but she's not. the only thing she is concerned about is getting people kicked off the property and covering her ass. we pay for the insurance so why is she so concerned on trying to make us look like liars, that no one broke in, you just didn't put a lock on the unit. so if someone, not us, forgot to put a lock on the unit then its ok for someone to go in and help themselves to whatever they want out of people's units. really!!! she did nothing to help us, just insulted us. run do not rent from here.
