Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher was inspired by a trip to India where he was introduced to Ayurveda, an ancient belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Thus his vision for Aveda was born. We keep Horst’s vision and the Aveda mission near and dear to our hearts. We also have a profound love for the world we live in and protecting it. Aveda products use organically grown flowers and plants wherever possible and build relationships with indigenous people such as farmers and brokers who are in alignment with the Aveda philosophy of sustainable agriculture.
