Mitchell Solano, MD, is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists. With advanced fellowship training in hand, wrist and elbow surgery, he has special interest in upper extremity trauma, nerve compression syndromes, arthroscopy, joint replacement, tendon and ligament disorders, athletic injuries, and arthritis.
Dr. Solano graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Arkansas and was selected as an Emerging Leader by the American Orthopedic Association. He continued his training with a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Brown University with national leaders in wrist & elbow arthroscopy and total wrist replacement Surgery.
Dr. Solano emphasizes a patient-centered approach to educate and facilitate shared decision-making, empowering his patients to make informed choices regarding their care.
Dr. Solano and his wife were born and raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. They enjoy exploring the outdoors with their three boys. When not caring for patients, Dr. Solano likes playing golf, soccer, and cheering on Kansas City sports teams.
