A graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Paul Arcand grew up in Rhode Island. As a general surgeon, he performs many different types of surgeries including general, laparoscopic, and bariatric surgery. He enjoys using his surgical skills to improve his patient's health. He finds surgery both challenging and rewarding. Dr. Arcand helped create the Bariatric Surgery Program at Reliant for people with severe obesity, using a team approach to support their health. He enjoys using his skills to help patients. At home, he spends time with his wife and three children and likes outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. He also enjoys working with his hands.
