Katherine Lewis is a Pediatrician for Atracare Health, located in Lewes Delaware. She grew up in lower Delaware and was influenced by the local culture, abundant and varied natural settings as well as colorful local personalities found throughout the community. Much of this exposure was through time spent in and around her father and grandfather’s solo medical practices. She saw firsthand how profoundly rewarding the physician-patient relationship can be when the art of medicine is fully embraced. House calls and conversations with elderly patients inevitably led to interesting anecdotes and stories of times past.
Special interests include adolescent medicine, nutrition, and fitness, as well as special needs children.
Katherin feels strongly about teaching children from an early age to have empathy for all things living leads to a kind and caring adult who ultimately contributes to society in a meaningful way. Her spare time is spent with her children, family, and friends, exploring and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible, skiing, gardening, working out at the gym, and reading.
