Chef Karim Chhibbane is a classically trained chef, who grew up working in a family restaurant in Marrakech, Morocco before he formally studied culinary arts in Lyon, France. He has over forty years experience working in restaurants, and over thirty of those years were spent as an executive chef. He owned his own successful Morroccan restaurant, Chef Karim's, in Santa Barbara, California, for over 18 years.
