Paul Barbara, former president of Surfside 3, has announced that he is returning to the boating business after a six year absence. Surfside 3 was purchased by MarineMax in March 2006. The Barbara family retained all the properties and leases at Surfside 3´s facilities, located on Long Island, New York. Paul Barbara has reacquired the delivery center in Liderhurst, New York, a better than 10 acres of waterfront property at 692 S. Wellwood Avenue.
Paul Barbara returns to the boating business with his 30 years of experience.
Barbara says "we will be renting 90-100 slips for summer dockage as well as room for high and dry storage and ample room for over 300 boats for winter storage. We will provide complete facilities for service, fiberglass repairs, lift capabilities for up to 100 feet. It is my intention to enter back into brokerage boat sales and will be exploring new boat lines to fill out our entrance back into the market."
