Jessie was raised in East Helena, MT and now lives with her husband and daughter on the family ranch near Clyde Park. She attended Miles Community College, earning an Associate of Art degree and an Associate of Science degree in 2003. She then earned a Bachelor degree in Communication Studies at the University of Montana in 2005.
