Carl Creighton was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1976 after receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University (B.A., Summa Cum Laude, 1973) and his Law Degree from Wayne State University in 1976. He is one of the firm’s partners and has been with the firm since 1988.
John (Jack) was born on September 21, 1951. John attended Livonia Bentley High School and graduated with honors in 1969. After high school, he enrolled at Michigan State University and graduated from Michigan State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, (James Madison College). He began his law school career in 1975 at the Detroit College of Law (now referred to as Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University) in day classes.
George Shea has been in the firm since 1988 and a partner since 1992. Mr. Shea is a graduate of Michigan State University (Cum Laude, 1974) and Wayne State University Law School (Cum Laude, 1988). Before receiving his law degree, he worked at Williams International, Inc., where he was a Contract Manager, responsible for negotiating and implementing multi-million dollar contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and with other aerospace companies.
Lawrence E. Witkowski was admitted to the Michigan and Federal Bar in 1977 after receiving his Law degree from Wayne State University. Prior to this, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1974.
Kelley focuses her practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody and child support, estate planning, probate matters, and real estate. Prior to joining Creighton, McLean & Shea, PLC, Kelley developed significant expertise working in both commercial and residential construction. Her work as a new home sales agent and construction manager provided her with a wealth of knowledge in the real estate industry, which is a significant asset to her clients.
Raymond K. Waldo graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1987 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy. He graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Law School in 1993, earning the American Jurisprudence Award in evidence.
Kevin focuses his practice in several different areas of the law, including criminal law, family law and property law. Prior to joining Creighton, McLean & Shea, PLC, Kevin interned for the Honorable Sean F. Cox in the Eastern District of the United States District Court. While working for Judge Cox, Kevin learned the level of preparation required to effectively represent clients in all areas of the law, and he has taken those skills with him in his newly developing practice.
