Dr. Afar is a UCLA trained dentist who was among the top 5% of graduating dental students in the nation, earning him the Dentist-Scientist Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health to continue his education and research in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Washington. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Western Dental Society. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Associate Fellow of the American Society of Osseointegration. Highly skilled in all aspects of implant dentistry, and a former UCLA School of Dentistry Clinical Faculty and Research Associate, Dr. Afar is an internationally recognized expert and lecturer in the field of implantology.
