At LEVEL Engineering, we are passionate about bringing common sense, practical and actionable solutions to the residential market.We started this company because, after years in the industry, we continued to see something missing that cost homeowners untold stress and frustration, contractors lost time and money and realtors and lenders left unable to satisfy their clients’ needs.
We decided to do something about it – and, LEVEL Engineering was born.
Scott A. Zurn, P.E., President
As a 30-year structural engineer, I have contributed to and experienced all aspects of the building industry. I have achieved success in the commercial and residential general contracting markets and leadership roles as a building official, city engineer and director roles for local governments. As a designer, project manager and leader, I have accomplishment hundreds of millions of dollars in successful commercial building and civil infrastructure as well as being a custom home build for over 100 homes throughout the Front Range. I am an accomplished and awarded engineer and am excited about being able to bring my expertise to bear in an area that I believe is underrepresented in the building industry.
I grew up in Wyoming when the working trades were scarce and consider myself fortunate to have learned the building business very early in life. My passion for the industry continued to grow and the desire to learn was rewarded with a BS in Civil Engineering. I gained my professional engineer license have practiced here in Colorado ever since.
Personally, I am blessed with three fabulous daughters as well as two fabulous stepchildren with my wife, Anya. The house on the mountain is always full of girls. I enjoy the outdoors with as many activities as I can – getting back to his Wyoming roots.
