Peak Technical Institute (PTI) is proud to combine its history of operating as a Private Occupational School in Colorado since 2009, with newly developed programs, to form a comprehensive training institute. PTI provides industry-leading training in technical, job-specific industries, and has offered an unparalleled commitment to its students for over five years. We provide an extensive education to give students all the tools needed to make the most out of their chosen career path. PTI provides hands-on training in a state-of-the-art facility, utilizing professionally developed courseware and textbooks that have been vetted and approved by top-level, industry experts from around the country. All PTI programs of study are taught using a residential blend of traditional academic lectures with applied learning concepts, pursuant to which a significant portion is devoted to practical study in a simulated real-life environment. Beginning with a student’s application through to their time in our course, we provide a level of assistance that is not typically experienced in other schools. Our goal is to continuously nurture existing relationships with employers to ensure high level job acquisition following graduation. PTI currently has four comprehensive Certificate Granting Programs, with plans to continue to grow and expand. PTI’s Commercial Driver Training (Class A CDL) course is designed to introduce students to the procedures and skills found in the truck driving industry, while preparing each person toobtain a commercial driver’s license. Every student will obtain the required skills to be able to safely operate a commercial vehicle. With their solid reputation in the field, Peak Commercial Driver Training can help you become a professional truck driver with as little as 3 of specialized hands-on training, behind the wheel. Each course consists of classroom, lab, range, and on-the-road experience to ensure the best possible training. This program meets minimum requirements established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) & is based on the FMCSA “Model Curriculum”. PTI maintains specially designed concrete pads where students will practice all the skills necessary to obtain a permit to include: safely operating a vehicle, backing, coupling, uncoupling, and emergency procedures. PTI provides equipment for Commercial Driver Licensing (CDL license) testing at all locations, and owns a fleet of 2010 International Pro-Stars tractors -trailers used exclusively for student training.
