The mission of the Angelina Arts Alliance is to enrich, entertain and educate by presenting and promoting the performing arts. This mission drives each and every program and outreach activity in order to uplift our community in deep East Texas. Through economic downturns and the loss of major industry in this region, the arts play an even greater role today in community building.

Welcome to our 2019-20 Season
The Angelina Arts Alliance is thrilled to present a brand new season of our Performing Arts Series, where we bring the world to you! Inspired by all the bright lights and endless activities you find in big cities, we deliver the best in big city performing arts right here in Lufkin.

This season includes two touring Broadway musicals, two country music and western swing artists, one world-renowned jazz group and holiday concert, one unique and amusing dance performance, one night of Celtic delight, and one breathtaking vocalist who garnered a national spotlight from a young age. That’s eight world-class performances. What more can we deliver in one season?

If that were not enough, the Angelina Arts Alliance continues its tradition of family friendly events and arts education programming with our brand new Discovery Series. Keeping in the spirit of our Family Fundays, the Discovery Series will feature three weekend matinee programs specifically geared toward families and young audiences with all educational and fun performances to enjoy.

With education being at the core of our mission, we are proud to continue our Schooltime Series with four performances for local students, and a variety of educational outreach opportunities planned for the coming school year. Each show has been selected with the desire of bringing the best quality performing arts to Angelina County. As always, we seek the best possible entertainment available to us in order to enrich the lives of everyone in deep East Texas.

The Arts Alliance has an impressive history of performing arts and arts education spanning 18 years. It also has a community that embraces and supports every single season, for which we are very grateful. We are proud to continue this legacy by making the arts available to everyone.
