I’ve always loved problem-solving and investigation, and medicine stood out to me because it combines science, critical thinking and lifelong learning. What I find most rewarding is helping people in meaningful ways. No matter how big or small a concern may seem, it matters to the patient, and listening, guiding and helping find answers is the most fulfilling part of my work.I developed a strong clinical foundation in geriatrics during residency and have continued to build expertise in obesity medicine throughout my career. I am especially passionate about menopause care, an area that is often overlooked and widely misunderstood, and I enjoy helping patients feel informed, supported and empowered through every stage of life. Honesty and transparency are central to how I practice medicine, including acknowledging when answers aren’t immediate and committing to continued learning and growth to find the best solutions.I have conducted research on cognitive bias in primary care and previously spent significant time working in a molecular mycology research lab. Outside of medicine, I enjoy baking and bullet journaling, a creative practice I began during residency that helps me stay organized, recharge and clear my mind.
