Dennis was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1998 and went on to serve in the United States Army and Michigan Army National Guard, retiring in 2021 after serving 23 years as an Infantryman and a Combat Medic. He served tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, Eqypt, Burkina Faso, and Mauritania. He started his nursing career after graduating from Delta College and worked in a variety of settings including neuro progressive, neuro ICU, pre/post anesthesia care, and corrections. Dennis graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in 2023 specializing as a family nurse practitioner, and was fortunate enough to complete most of his clinical rotations right here at SCMH. He looks forward to serving the community in his new role. Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, gardening, and blacksmithing.
