Trent was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and subsequently transferred to the United States Air Force. During his tenure in the USAF, he was selected for training as a Physician’s Assistant. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his PA clinical training at Andrews AFB. He also earned an Associate Degree in Radiation Technology early in his Air Force Career. Trent retired from the USAF in 2000 and spent 18 years practicing Dermatology in Spokane, Washington before joining our practice in 2020. Trent brings with him an impeccable skill set as a result of his extensive training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic Dermatology and his longstanding experience in Clinical Dermatology. He has expertise in acne treatment (including Accutane), eczema, psoriasis, hair and nail disease, warts, and other acute and chronic conditions of the skin. He has special interest and experience in skin cancer screening, detection, management and cutaneous surgery. Trent’s goal for each patient is that they have a clear understanding of their skin diagnosis, treatment options, “game plan”, and expected outcome. He enjoys working and collaborating with Dr. Ticoras in providing compassionate and outstanding care to the patients seen in our practice. Trent and his wife, Carrie, have two children.
