Our hospitalists are doctors who are devoted to hospitalized patients, with the goal of providing them with the highest level of care.Hospitalists are physicians that practice only within the hospital, and treat patients who have been referred from primary care doctors, emergency room doctors, or other physicians at the hospital. Hospitalists have chosen not to practice traditional internal medicine within a private practice or an internal medicine clinic. Some of our hospitalists are family practice doctors or medical sub-specialists who are also passionate about hospitalist work such as intensive care doctors, pulmonologists (specializing in treatment of the lungs) or nephrologists (specializing in treatment of the kidneys).
