The Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) at PBHS offer group therapy in a safe, supportive, and validating environment. Treatment provides patients with core skills to cope with life’s challenges and effectively manage mental health and addiction problems. To provide compassionate, competent, and evidence-based care to individuals with mental health and addiction recovery problems so that they can pursue a life worth living.
Premier Behavioral Health Services (PBHS) is a multi-disciplinary mental health practice providing a combination of psychiatric and psychological services to adolescents, adults, and seniors. Services include comprehensive assessment and treatment of mental health conditions and addiction. PBHS is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for dual diagnosis, adult, and adolescent mental health intensive outpatient treatment.
Our programs are also certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services as a provider of alcohol and drug treatment.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program

The Intensive Outpatient Programs at PBHS offer group therapy in a safe, supportive, and validating environment. Treatment provides patients with core skills to cope with life’s challenges and effectively manage mental health and addiction problems.



Adult DBT IOP



The Adult Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) DBT IOP program is based upon the principals of Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and the teaching of John Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. and Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. This group offers comprehensive training and skills to effectively cope with stress, chronic pain, and other mental and physical health problems.



• Anxiety Disorders

• Depression

• Eating Disorders

• Bipolar Disorders

• Self-harm behaviors, suicidal thoughts, or attempts



The program consists of 18 sessions over 6 weeks with rolling entry at any time.

Group meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

• Daytime IOP meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Evening IOP meets from 6 to 9 p.m.
