Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center opened in 1992 to provide comprehensive cancer services to the South Florida community. Together with the 40-bed inpatient hospital, UMHC â€" University of Miami Hospital & Clinics, Sylvester serves as the cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research hub for UHealth â€" University of Miami Health System.
Sylvester in Miami offers outpatient clinics, a 40-bed inpatient unit, a comprehensive treatment unit, a radiation oncology suite, the Mohs surgery center/dermatology clinic, the Rosenfield GI Center, a stem cell transplant clinic, a cardiology lab and clinic, a radiology/imaging suite, an interventional radiology clinic, the Spine Institute clinics, on-site laboratory and pharmacy.
