About Consultative Insurance Group We invite you to discover and experience the benefits of a diverse team with differing educational interests, experiences, and strategies. In 2011, Ron and Kindra Smith announced that RJ Smith & Associates and The Adams Agency joined to form the new joint agency, Consultative Insurance Group, Inc. We chose the name “Consultative Insurance” because... well, it’s the way we do business! We have built our agencies as a team of insurance consultants to our clients, and have expanded over the years as we’ve added specialists in each department–Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life and Financial. Ron began his career as a Nationwide agent in 1977, and Kindra began her career as a Nationwide agent in 1997.
