Max has over 30 years of experience successfully leading commercial banking teams in the Richmond area. His experience includes traditional commercial lending, construction financing, income property financing, and SBA lending programs.
He previously served as Chief Lending Officer at Village Bank prior to merging with TowneBank in 2025. Max received his degree in history from the Virginia Military Institute.
