Dr. Alexander Connaughton went to medical school at Michigan State University and completed a fellowship at the Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo, NY. He decided to become an orthopedic surgeon after working as an EMT in college. He enjoys the field because it is fastmoving and offers new ways to help patients. Dr. Connaughton treats all manner of orthopedic problems in children and adults. He performs minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery on the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee joints including ACL reconstructions, labral repairs, and rotator cuff repairs. He also does nonsurgical care. He loves seeing patients return to the activities they enjoy.
