Milwaukee is known for many things…beer, great food, art and everything in between. The Milwaukee Public Museum is home to the world’s largest dinosaur head, an exhibit that replicates the historic streets of Milwaukee and even a room you can walk into and be surrounded by real butterflies.
On the Milwaukee RiverWalk there is a bronze statue of the Fonz from Happy Days, welcoming passersby with his iconic “thumbs up”. Another incredible sight is the “Calatrava”, a magnificent wing-like structure above the Milwaukee Art Museum that opens during the day to welcome visitors and folds down at night. Not to be outdone, the Milwaukee Braves Miller Park also has a roof that opens and closes.
