After spending 22 years in a brick-and-mortar practice, Dr. Boyd began to notice that many of his patients were busier than ever and they simply didn't always have the time to take off work and travel to his practice for care. Also, there were parents who were just too busy with their kid's soccer practice, school functions, grocery shopping, etc... and trying to get the kids ready to go to the doctor's office was far more stressful than it was worth. Furthermore, because of Dr. Boyd's extensive work with Autistic children, many of his patients would often experience increased anxieties and melt-downs when visiting the doctor's office.
Dr. Boyd was also able to see that patients were especially frustrated with the current healthcare system that seemed to only focus on disease management. Dr. Boyd knew there had to be a better way...
