Amberly L. Burger, MD is board certified in hospice and palliative care. She previously served as Medical Director of Hospice Services at the Center for Hospice Care in South Bend.
She received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin and her palliative care fellowship at the Ohio State University Medical Center. She received honors for her Masters of Medical Management from University of Southern California and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
She lectures at University of Notre Dame in their Pathos Seminar Class and also is part of a panel on spiritual care at Indiana University School of Medicine.
As a member of the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Care, Dr. Burger has a special interest in alleviating suffering through her knowledge of serious diseases and pharmacology.
