About
Shafer Memorials is our family owned & run monument business that has been serving the Mitchell SD and SE South Dakota communities since 1919.
We proudly do the engraving of the monuments we sell here in our personal shop. We also handle the placement of the monuments ourselves. A family member is handling your order from design to final placement at the cemetery.
Now in our 6th generation of designing monuments for families a lot has changed in the industry. If you need a traditional monument, a memorial that will hold cremains, or something very unique we can easily assist you to a final product you will love.
We also carry cremation urns, vault liners, and Pet Memorials.
