Sharon Dear has over 20 years experience in nursing with 8 years as a nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from University of Louisiana, Monroe and her Master's of Science degree specializing in acute care of adults from Northwestern State University. Her nurse practitioner experience includes internal medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and hospice/palliative care. She served in the U. S. Navy as a nurse. She has published several articles for Bayou Life Magazine.
