Debra Brown Grossman has been a Registered Dietitian(R.D.) for over thirty-five years and a Certified Diabetes Educator(C.D.E.) for over fifteen. She also holds a Masters in Public Health in Nutrition (M.P.H.). In the earlier part of her career, Debra was a pediatric nutrition specialist for major medical institutions: first at The Children’s Hospital at UAB in Alabama and then at Tulane Medical Center in her native New Orleans. A move to Manhattan in 1988 brought her to work at a privately owned weight management corporation associated with St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and then as a nutrition specialist as part of a pediatric endocrine team at Maimonides in Brooklyn.
