Dr. Diaa Hussein is a native of Cairo, Egypt, where he received his medical degree from Cairo University in 1978. He completed a one-year rotating internship in Cairo University Hospitals. He was awarded a scholarship to Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans and was granted a Master of Public Health degree in August of 1983.
