Jansen Sears is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology at Intermountain Health’s Cottonwood Medical Clinic in Murray, Utah. He supports patients in Murray, Cottonwood Heights, Millcreek, Midvale, and surrounding communities, treating Type 1 and 2 Diabetes Mellitus, gestational diabetes, and more. Jansen enjoys interacting with patients of every background and strives to provide empathetic care to all.
Prior to working in Endocrinology, he practiced in Family Medicine and in a variety of settings as a nurse including acute inpatient care, inpatient psychiatry, and the operating room.
Jansen comes from a healthcare family and is married to an ultrasound technician. They have three young children. Outside of work Jansen loves to spend time with family and friends as well as collecting sneakers and being outside as much as possible.
