Pankhuri Gupta, MD is a rheumatologist at Intermountain Health’s Cottonwood Medical Clinic in Murray, Utah. She supports patients in Murray, Sandy, Holladay, and surrounding communities, treating all rheumatic diseases and accommodating urgent referrals and consultations. She believes in practicing medicine with compassion, honesty, and dedication, and in developing a long-term relationship with every patient, utilizing communication with an emphasis on education.
Dr. Gupta is one of the local leaders for the association of women in rheumatology which involves developing connections with other rheumatologists in the area. She is also actively involved in advocacy for patients in rheumatology. Education is one of her passions, and she is an Associate Professor for Rocky Vista University and is currently mentoring medical students.
Research advancing knowledge around rheumatic disease is another priority for Dr. Gupta. Currently, Dr. Gupta is participating in clinical trials for Systemic Lupus and Sjogren’s Syndrome. These studies bring new opportunities to patients living with these conditions and will help to advance the field’s knowledge of effective treatments for patients.
