Hormonal Harmony is a women’s health practice based in Mystic, Connecticut, led by experienced women’s health nurse practitioner Kristen Stehle, APRN. The practice provides telehealth services for women, taking a holistic, individualized approach to treating the entire person.
Kristen is passionate about helping women navigate the menopause transition, which can start with perimenopause as early as age 35. While symptoms may range from mild to severe, Kristen fully believes that no woman should have to suffer and that using hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone can allow us to thrive. Additionally, she believes women should be fully informed about the benefits of hormone therapy, such as the prevention of cardiovascular disease, dementia and Alzheimer’s, colon cancer, osteoporosis, Type 2 diabetes, and urinary tract infection.
She has more than 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Kristen completed her nurse practitioner training at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She treats hormone imbalances and other conditions associated with menopause, perimenopause, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Kristen enjoys improving the health and well-being of her patients virtually, so they don’t have to leave the comfort of their homes to meet with her and experience a better quality of life. The goal is a lower risk of diseases and bothersome symptoms, such as hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, acne breakouts, and weight gain.
