While the nonprofit mission of Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is changing lives through education, training and employment, we are also committed to keeping Tennessee and the planet green. The sale of donated clothing in our stores extends the life of useful items and offers shoppers a sustainable alternative to fast-fashion. Further, we annually recycle more than 25 million pounds of valuable materials. By joining other retailers in curbing reliance on single-use plastics, we hope to reduce plastic pollution in our landscapes, streams and oceans. We encourage shoppers to bring their own reusable bags, or we offer two sizes of reusable canvas shopping bags.
