Dr. Denis Gilmore graduated cum laude with his B.S. in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University before attending medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland where he received his M.D., M.B., B.Ch., and BAO, graduating with high honors. He then completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and attended Vanderbilt University for his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery. In his free time, Dr. Gilmore enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports with his two sons.
