Dr. Borneman provides the full scope of obstetrics and gynecologic care with a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is trained in robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy, as well as the newer technique of vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES).
Dr. Borneman has won several surgical awards, including recognition of excellence in minimally invasive surgery and urogynecology, as well as the resident achievement award for outstanding minimally invasive surgery. She completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in obstetrics and gynecology after earning her medical degree at UCSF. In medical school, she won several awards for her research in gynecologic oncology, graduating with distinction in research. Prior to medical training, Dr. Borneman worked as a high school teacher and served in numerous global health initiatives as an undergraduate at UCLA. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and cooking with her daughter and husband.
